SMK is the National Gallery of Denmark and the largest art museum in the country. Through the collection of more than 700 years of art we present Danish art to the world and international art to Denmark.

We contribute to redefining the museum as an institution and promote a creative and reflective society. The National Gallery of Denmark is supported by the State of Denmark. The many changing exhibitions and activities are secured through SMK's own income and support from funding, partnerships and sponsors.
