• Responsible for managing and developing the department – in terms of staff, strategy, and professional results.
• Responsible for art-related issues in connection with exhibitions and collections, acquisition strategies, research plans, and research reports.
• Represents the Gallery in advisory research committees, boards, and representative councils of research academies, etc.
• Chief editor and art editor on the Gallery’s research journal, SMK Art Journal.
• Member of the managerial committee and contributor to the joint strategic work at the National Gallery of Denmark.
