European Art 1300-1800
This part of the museum’s permanent collection offers a unique opportunity to get an overview of 500 years of art from all over Europe. The collection is presented in the form of an all-new display that includes some of the main protagonists of art history such as Mantegna, Cranach, Titian, Rubens, Rembrandt, and many others.
The displays showcase the great diversity of the collection by presenting a wide range of paintings, sculpture, miniatures, drawings, and prints. The display also covers a wide geographical area with particular emphasis on Dutch, Flemish, Italian, French, Spanish, and German art.
