Stella Polaris

Stella Polaris
Stella Polaris is a music concept based on a non-profit profile. The goal is to provide a diverse audience with an innovative music and cultural experience. The Stella Polaris Festival has been a yearly event since 1997. It is categorised as an event with a varied expression, both in the sense of its audience and music profile which besides the electronic basic elements also includes live acoustic elements from the folk and singer –songwriter genre.
Stella Polaris and the Gallery
As part of the collaboration with Stella Polaris, we host the Night Music Gallery. The Night Music Gallery is an exclusive evening at the Gallery where Scandinavian DJs, live acts and VJs meet 700 years old art.
The concept Night Music Gallery builds upon the idea of creating a sensual experience where atmospheric electronic music meets solid visual expressions in an untraditional framework. The Night Music Gallery creates an innovative fusion to disseminate electronic music and visual art to a young audience. The two very different expressions supplement each other and make a cultural enrichment and create new communication of both art directions.
During the Night Music Gallery event, the special exhibitions are also open to the audience. It is therefore a multi media concert experience, where the music is mimed by VJs synchronised manipulation, coupled with the personalised experience of the Gallery’s exhibitions. Apart from access to the special exhibitions, the audience also gets the opportunity to experience live art performances, participate in specially developed Art Talks, where the tour guides offer a different and dialog based communication.
