Fiskars Brands Denmark A/S and the Gallery
Thanks to a sponsorship from Fiskars Brands Denmark A/S, children in our Workshops can use familiar orange-coloured scissors to cut out cardboard, paper and fabric to create their own small collages and installations.
The Danish National Gallery has the objective that art is for everyone- children, youth and adults. For this reason, we are very proud to present a broad range of professional quality programming for children and youth. This programming, created especially for children, stimulates imagination, creativity and learning.
The Workshops, which provide the physical environment for our children’s activities, create a unique immersion experience filled with schoolchildren and families who want to actively participate in the museum. In the Workshops, children meet academy trained artists who lead them into a universe focused on art. Here the children get hands-on experience exploring art and its many attributes.
