Many of the works in the SMK collection are marked as public domain. They belong to the public – which means that they belong to you, too. Here you can download high-resolution images of 160 of the museum’s most prominent artworks.

What can you use the images for?
The copyright on the art works has expired because they were made by artists who passed away more than 70 years ago. Therefore their works are in the public domain. This also means that you are free to use the images for any purpose without asking permission from the SMK or anyone else.

Since the copyright on these images has expired, you are free to:
