Drawing workshop: Symbolism

This spring’s special exhibition focuses on the importance of drawing in Symbolist art – and this Wednesday you can give drawing a try yourself!

On the occasion of Hieroglyphs – Symbolist Drawings 1890-1910 we invite everyone to take part in a drawing workshop on the Stage. Inspired by this spring’s special exhibition, we draw serpentine flowers, entwined figures and caricatured hairdos – and you’re welcome to join in!

We supply pencils, ink, watercolours and paper, and our resident house artists are happy to offer advice if you like.
