Kirsten Ortwed (b. 1948) is one of the most significant and uncompromising sculptors in Denmark.

Kirsten Ortwed lives in Köln in Germany and is among the few Danish sculptors who have achieved international recognition.

Her works can be seen in many museums and public spaces in Europe.
