Biography

The British born (1966) artist Lindsay Seers works and lives in London. She studied at the Slade School of Fine Art, University College London (BA Hons, Fine Art) and at Goldsmiths College, University of London (MA Fine Art). She is represented by Matt’s Gallery, London.

Grants and awards
Throughout her career Lindsay Seers has won several grants and awards.  Recently she won the Derek Jarman Award, 2009, an award that recognizes individual artist film-makers. Also she has received the Wingate Scholarship from The British School at Rome 2007/8, British Council Award for new work, 2007, Arts Council National Touring Award, 2005-06, Major Award British Council, 2005, Arts Council Individual Artist Award, 2005.
