Tacita Dean – Print Projects was the first-ever exhibition to focus exclusively on Dean’s work within the medium of print.
Tacita Dean is British, lives and works in Berlin, and prints her series of images at a specialist printer’s in Denmark.
A famous Berlin landmark forms the point of departure of Dean’s series Fernsehturm.
In the Dead Budgie Project series Dean offers a sentimental narrative about the life and death of a budgerigar.
In the series Darmstädter Werkblock Dean zooms in on decaying and dilapidated walls.
In the series JG (offset) Dean search for a giant spiral jetty, that has been hidden underwater for years.
