Room for Increased Consciousness of the Parallel Day is an installation by the Swedish artist Annika von Hausswolff (b. 1967) made especially for x-rummet. She took her point of departure in the mundane objects, memories, and dreams, and combines her own photographs with various objects and spatial interventions. Annika von Hausswolff hints how the modest and the everyday contain the possibility of new insights and heightened awareness. She points out how we can expand our consciousness by reinforcing our experience of the world that surrounds us.
