Drawing workshops with nude models – and chickens

Join us as we host another round of drawing workshops as part of the museum’s SMK Wednesday programme

Would you like to learn how to draw? Or do you want to hone your drawing skills even further? Here is your chance: SMK hosts a number of drawing workshops at the museum throughout the autumn season. Bring your family, friends and loved ones along – and draw after sculptures, nude models or even live chickens.

Artists will assist you
You don’t need to have any prior drawing experience to attend our workshops – you will have plenty of opportunities to receive advice and technical assistance along the way from SMK’s academy-trained in-house artists.

Practical details
The drawing workshops are part of the SMK Wednesday programme on these dates (identical workshops start at three different times – pick the time that suits you).

20 September at 17.00-20:00
18 October at 17.00-20:00
22 November at 17.00-20:00

You are welcome to join in at any point and no previous drawing experience is required. No advance booking required. The event is free, but of course you will need to pay the standard admission fee to the museum or have an SMK Annual Pass

The workshops take place below the SMK’s large staircase, overlooking the beautiful Østre Anlæg park.

About SMK Wednesday

Every Wednesday we stay open until 20.00. You can enjoy art talks and view the SMK’s exhibitions and permanent displays until late. We also always offer a special surprise in the form of e.g. concerts, performances, ballet or drawing workshops.

If you should get hungry during your visit, SMK’s café Depanneur is located right next to the drawing workshop. The café also offers take-away food for you to bring home.
