You can access the entire museum with a wheelchair. It is possible to borrow a wheelchair at the Museum. You can also borrow a cane at the museum.

Guide dogs are allowed at the Museum.

Handicap toilets are on the lower floor of the Museum in both the new and old buildings.

Persons who are accompanying handicapped visitors have free entrance to the museum and doesn't have to show a membership card of The Invalid Organizations' Cosumer Service.

Guided tours

Twice a year there are guided tours in mouth-hand system and sign language. Contact the Booking Office of the Museum for the next guided tour.

To enter the parking space in front of the museum you have to use the driveway at Øster Voldgade. Use the intercom to get access. When you wish to leave the museum you have to use the egress at Sølvgade. Slowly drive toward the bullard which will be lowered automatically.

Wheelchair access

Wheelchair access is by the lift to the left of the steps at the main entrance.
