Tourist Information at the SMK

If you need a map of the city, a ticket for the Parkmuseerne museum district or a Copenhagen Card, the SMK Tourist Information is a good place to start. The staff are always ready to offer tips, advice and assistance.

The Tourist Information services at the SMK are part Visit Copenhagen and can be found at the museum’s Information desk. Here you will find brochures from all the museums in the Parkmuseerne district and a map of Copenhagen. The map will allow you to find all the sights of the city with perfect ease.

Use the lounge right next to the Information desk to find inspiration on what to do and see in Copenhagen. Tablets are available for public use, allowing you to search for information about events, shopping opportunities, restaurants, nightlife and sights.

Free Wi-Fi

If you have brought along your own device (tablet, smartphone or computer), you can go online using the SMK’s free Wi-Fi service. Search online to decide what to do next, download apps, check your email and go on social media. The lounge has no facilities for charging your device.

Six cultural highlights with one ticket

Buy a combination ticket for the Parkmuseerne and get access to the finest art and cultural heritage Denmark has to offer.

The ticket gives you the right to make one free visit to each of the six museums in the Parkmuseerne museum district, one ticket to watch a film at the Cinemateket cinema, a 10% discount on publications at the David Collection, and free admission to the SMK.

You can buy the combination ticket from the Information desk for DKK 195. The ticket remains valid for one year after the date of purchase.

Copenhagen Card

The Copenhagen Card is also available from the Information desk. This card makes it easy for you to visit attractions and use public transport without having to worry about tickets and prices.

We cannot guarantee that all variants of the Copenhagen Card will be in stock with us. If you want to be certain that a specific type of card is available, we recommend that you buy it from Copenhagen Visitor Service at Vesterbrogade 4, from the CPH Airport or via the Copenhagen Cards website
